Georgia Rhodes
Georgia Rhodes is a New England-based artist. She received her MFA in photography from the University of Georgia at Athens in 2015. Her photographs regard nature as material more than as subject, and she employs multiple ways of representing it, whether it be still life's, postcards, snapshots, or traditional landscapes. Her work has been published in Aint-Bad Magazine, Lenscratch, and Newfound Journal. In 2020, she co-created an ongoing project that examines art-based practices in scientific research called VIS-A-THON. Currently, Rhodes works at the Rhode Island School of Design’s Nature Lab.
