Walker Pickering

Walker Pickering (b. 1980) is a transmedia artist and photographer residing in Lincoln, NE. His work is an Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska, Pickering was a 2018 finalist for the Prix HSBC pour la Photography, and winner of the 2013 Clarence John Laughlin Award. His work is widely exhibited both in the United States and abroad and held in public and private collections. His work has been showcased in The New York Times, Le Monde (France), Bloomberg Business Week, GEO (Germany), TIME Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Reader’s Digest, and many more. Pickering teaches photography, time-based media, and bookmaking courses at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
