Caitlin Peterson

Caitlin Peterson is a fine art photographer and arts administrator based in Chicago. Using a large-format view camera, she explores the relationship between humans and the landscape, which is evident in her project, The Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia. Similarly, in her body of work, Alabama, the Beautiful, Peterson focuses on the impressions humans have made onto the forests, mountains, and canyons of the state where she grew up. She has exhibited work in numerous group exhibitions nationally, and had a solo exhibition at the Lamar Dodd Art Center in LaGrange, GA in the fall of 2014. Peterson’s work has been featured in numerous publications including The Bitter Southerner, The Oxford American, Lenscratch, and SCAD Silver & Ink, among others. Her pieces also reside in the permanent collections of The Georgia Museum of Art and the Lamar Dodd Art Center.
