Pamela Pecchio
Pamela Pecchio is an artist and educator currently based in Boston. She received her MFA in Photography from Yale University, where she was awarded the Richard Dixon Welling Prize for Excellence. Pecchio’s images have been exhibited extensively nationally and abroad, including shows at Aperture (New York); Daniel Cooney Fine Art (New York); Wallspace Galleries (New York); International Art Camp (Beijing); the Amsterdam DreamBike Festival; and Art Cologne.
She has authored and artist’s book and a monograph, in addition to having her photographs published in outlets like Details, ArtNews, and 8x10. Permanent collections include the Yale University Art Museum (New Haven, CT); the North Carolina Museum of Art (Raleigh); the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (Atlanta); and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. She has been teaching studio courses for 17 years, including positions at UNC Chapel Hill, Duke University, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and the University of Virginia.
